parts car worth its cash?

Hey, how it going? I just found a parts 1991 240 sx in the classifides for 500 bucks. I haven't been able to speak to the owner of the car, but the ad says that it runs and is under the "Parts/Salvage" section of the classifides. If this car truly is a parts car and runs somewhat, what do you guys think it is worth? How low should I try and haggle the guy? Of course, after I get the few things I need from it (p/s, a/c bolts, side glass) I'll be more than happy to part it out for good prices on the boards. Thanks for the input, I'll add more info as I get it.

Yeah its worth it. I would haggle a little on the price. Try 300 first then go from there. Make sure he has a title or it would be very hard to get a scrap yard to take it after you are done with it. Nick

Yup, true words on the title. I'm gonna try and hit him with 250 if its really *that* bad. He'll proably counter with 4, then I'll shoot for 3 and stand. I dont NEED it persay, but it'd be a nice investment.

Well, the car is smashed up in the front end...pity. It runs, but its got some miles on it. If he doesn't settle with 350 its going to be walking time. Most of the front structires/engine components aren't in great shape...
