Well, if you do part it out, I want the water lines for the turbo.

How low is the compression? I think you'd come out better rebuilding it, than buying another engine.

how much do you want for the coilpacks? I wouldn't mind having the spares (same for ignitor).

Also dude you are gonna run a stock ca turbo on a ka? let me know how that works out! (15 psi at idle, lol).

Dam.it I need new lifters... I screwed mine up during the rebuild somehow. My head is all noisy now, and they're clicking on startup...

try soaking the lifters in some lightweight oil (say 20w) or possibly kerosene for a day or so

if nothing else you should see alot of buildup come out (definately on the kerosene treatment)

just get some of those small bread baking things from walmart (like 2-3"x2-3"x5-6" or so, super cheap) and you can fit about 8 lifters per in there, fill up with lightweight oil of choice and soak.

I did mine both in 20w and in kerosene (forgot what oil) when rebuilding, tons of **** came out.

when putting into head I made sure not to flip them over upside down or anything, just straight from the oil treatment to the head.

Carb cleaner works good too.

I did that on my DSM's lifter. Then worked them alittle to get the cleaner in all the passages. Made them quiet until I tried installing a remote filter
