Part Swapping

I have a 1989 Z32 TT over in Japan and I have to pass an inspection every couple years kind of like an emissions but a little different. I failed for several things including exhaust was too loud, front right shock is leaking, flare expired, front tires worn, and an oil leak underneath the engine. I have a buddy that is about to junk an NA Z32 and he's letting me swap some of the stuff I need before he junks so I have a couple questions about swapping NA and TT parts.

1. Can I swap his stock NA exhaust to my TT? They are both 2 seaters
2. I have aftermarket suspension but can I swap his stock suspension for mine with no issues?

My oil leak I'm pretty sure is the rear main seal which I knew about before and I've been waiting until I upgrade the clutch before I changed it which will happen this weekend now.

You will have issues possibly with the front end of the exhaust because of the DP's for the turbos, not sure as I myself have not wrenched that area, but there's that obvious difference with the DP's. The rest should be the same shape and therefore fit, although it may also be possible the exhaust tubing diameters are different due to the differing output of the engines, and fact Nissan early on was not set in all areas such as the brakes and elsewhere.
The suspension also should technically fit, but there are some differences with the sway bar diameter and brake sizing (26mm on pre-'91 NA's) so this would not be considered an equal swap if swapping ALL parts.

If this is a JDM car (which if it's in japan I would imagine it is) then the NA cats and exhaust WILL swap over. the factory DPs on the JDMs were different from the USDMs and they do bolt up to the NA cats.
