I probably could have searched and found something but I dunno. Im going too try and get the most out of my stock brakes, with some Brembo Blanks, new pads, and SS lines, and while im at it ima replace the suspension cause im pretty sure its the OE suspension still in place. I cant afford coilovers. But what i want to know is once you install them can you drop the car anymore. I ask this because i plan on getting some 17's, (but not when i do the brakes and susp.), and i dont want to have 4x4 suspension. So what should I do?

most coilovers are height adjustable allowing the owner of the car to change ride height at a whim, the only problem is that every time you change ride height you need an alignment because it changes

Thanks for the reply. I was aware of that. Can i lower a matched shock spring combo though? I dont think you can unless you get new coils, but then that would throw off the shock. Thanks in advance

spring/shocks are not adjustable, they lower however far they lower, and however much that is, youre losing that much suspension travel

Thanks Nismo, you always chime in on my questions. What would you suggest for a S13 with 17'' wheels? Car will never be drifted or taken to a track. Just a street car, but i do want it to handle decent(as long as its better than stock dont really care too much i think it handles pretty good with blown out susp.), and im trying to avoid the 4x4 look. Thanks -lyons
