For a 1996 Q45. with 165,000 miles. Bought new in 1996

Hoping someone can locate a 'Intake Air Hose Boot'. #16578-64U00. Also called 'Air Mass Meter Boot'.

My service guy tried with all his might with no luck.

Thanks in advance.

Nissan will usually pull the part from the catalog if it's been discontinued, but it's showing here:

https://parts.infinitiusa.com/nissanpar ... 1657864U00

and here:

It might be worth trying to place an order and see if it gets kicked back as unavailable... it's almost impossible to get any of the online parts places on the phone anymore.

The curse of a 20+ year old car. I'm guessing you have a split in hose? If so, I hate to say it, but it'll be time to get creative. I did a quick google search and found a mention of someone in a BMW forum bragging on a particular adhesive.

and I also wonder if something like this might be the ticket.

Or maybe if the non-tcs hose is available, it could be ordered and cut to fit your TCS version?

Looking at the shape in the parts blowup it might be possible to cobble one up using some cold air intake parts.

Thanks guys for the info..
Will take print out of these 2 suggestions and hand them over to service people and see if this might do the trick.
