Part needed, dumb question

Working on my old Z... Went to install my SS braided brake lines and noticed the brake line ends are female.

That's all good at the hardline end, but at the caliper, there's also a female fitting.

Is there a piece missing? I'm thinking there's a piece that threads into the caliper that the brake line threads onto.

I'm guessing it should look something like this:
