Hi, I'm from Pittsburgh but I wonder how much and where can I get aftermarket rear parking sensors installed? Somewhere like Pep Boys?

I'm not sure...

why do you need a parking sensor? the V is too small not to fit in any corner, just put a bumper protector on your bumper if you like bumping into other cars :D, works every time

add 2 tall antenna at the corners, so you can see where is your car located.

Most of them are easy enough you can do them yourself, requiring only a wire or two to be spliced.

Or you could get the newer licence plate camera's which are pretty pimp.

J C Whitney sells some kits that you can install your self. Should be pretty easy to put in - they say they're even paintable so you can color match to your car.

i'm pretty confident in putting together computers and networks but i'm clueless when it comes to modding my car

i read one of the manuals and installing one of these kits involves accessing the ECU and drilling holes in my bumper... scary! lol

Wow, I've never heard of something that goes into the ECU!

Drilling holes in your bumper isn't that big a deal - I did it to my grandpa's Caddy when he wanted these sensors (I was scared as hell, but it came out great.)

The majority of these systems have independent receivers that make the beeping noise for you and only require the splicing of a backup light bulb to turn the power on when you are in reverse - it's really quite simple.

You may also be interested in something like this instead - http://www.amazon.com/Get-Orga...1XTB0It's a backup camera that allows you to see instead of hearing a beep - I have a factory installed one on my car and it's the greatest device ever - really helps with parallel parking!

Although some people find parking sensors stupid I swear by them. I have front and rear sensors installed. Where I live I am always seeing Tiida's with bumpers scratched up.
