Parking Sensor got STOLEN!!!

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

I was backing up from my garage this morning, and the front driver side sensor was on "red alert" the whole time. I thought there was a something covering the sensor, and when i went to take a look, the whole sensor was missing and is obvious that is stolen because of the cut marks.

Can anyone tell me where i can get an OEM replacement?
i saw from one website costing $268.

Thanks.

I may have an extra if you want one. I'll have to look.

Boy, thats a Bummer...

How about this >>> http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/08-09-IN ... ccessories

It says that it doesn't come with the Bezel that surrounds the Sensor. Do you need that also ?

Thanks guys.
i passed by the dealer this morning, and the rep said it should be under warranty because the part "fell off".
I am not arguing with that, so my appointment is this Friday.
Thanks again for your help.

Now I'm worried. Are they that easy to remove? Given their cost that could become a hot commodity for thieves.

Yes there's an underground market for stolen EX35 parking sensors. You should all be living in fear. :ohno:

Some guy with another EX35 that has a broken parking sensor probably stole it from the OP. Wouldn't be suprised if he/she lives in the same neighborhood.

They just caught "Whitey" Bulger yesterday. So we are probably safe now.

Not much would tick me off more than having something like that happen. I am happy for you that your dealer is being nice.
