Parking pole wiring

I know I don't post much but I was wondering if I could get some help. I just got my Silvia front end and realized it came with a parking pole. My question is that has anyone had any luck wiring this up without using a toggle switch or even wiring it to the cruise control buttons. I no longer use cc btw. I tried searching but haven't really came up with anything forum wise or through google. I'm fairly comfortable running my own wires if need be but I would like to use as many factory parts as possible. I appreciate any input. I'll try to get some pics up shortly.

Best shot would be to just wire it to a switch. Im pretty sure if you look hard enough, you might be able to find the harness and everything. I would just do the switch tho.
