Parking light Trouble!!! Help help

K so i just Put street glow under my car. I wired them up and ran my positive wire inside and my ground. i have a positive wire coming off the battery and a ground from inside the car( just letting u kno the cause i thought it mite have something to do wit my problem.) works perfect. So as i went to turn the parking lights on the swich had a spark come out of it. so i went down and looked the fuse blow stuck another on in and did it again. Stuck a 40 in it and started to sizzle. but they came on so i took it out. Were is the short and how do i locate it!!!! plzz help

just take them out, thats the easy way

do you have the lights wired up so when you turn your headlights on it turns on too or is it wired to a seperate switch
