The park brake light is stuck on on the J. I've tried fidling with the pedal to make it go off but no luck. Is there a bad switch somewhere?

Is your brake fluid level good?

Had the same problem with my Q. Turns out it was a leaking master cylinder.

brake fluid was low. can't seem to find the leak. i had it parked on cardboard in the garage and there's not a spot on it. :( The brake pedal feels tight and firm (just how i like it) and doesn't seem to have air in it. I would assume if fluid was leaking out air is leaking in, right? I only checked the calipers brake line connections for wetness but i'll check the master cylinder when i get a chance.

I'm not sure if this applies to the J or not. On the early Q45 the brake light also does double duty as the trouble indicator for the alternator. Obviously this isn't your problem, but I threw this out in case someone was experiencing a similar problem.

Here is how the new Q displays when you have the brake on.

Hopefully it never gets stuck, since it take up the whole nav screen/ac info. ;)
