The brake light in the instrument panel keeps flickering on and off,so I disconnected the switch from the hand brake itself, but the light still flickers. Does any know where the wire for that dash light is? Does anyone have this problem? 1992 240sx(ka motor)

Hey Jimmitoman

Read below this is what I tryed and after reading the resolutions for other people with our issue, I think I will check my Brake and clutch fluid levels and sensors, that seems to be every ones problem.Good luck

--I have a problem with, what I think is a parking brake 1989 240sx. I I check the parking brake sensor buy, removing the plug, shorting the plug which made the lights dimm "not good" and then I check the sensor on the resovoir, by shorting the leads out which made zero changesI did take a volt meter to both switchs and found zero volts.I was wondering was there any where sensors for brakes that year, it is Not antilock at least I do not see the fance box with all the lines comming out of it.

HelpThank you.

There is no sensor attached to the clutch master cyclinder or is there a presure switch near the slave on the transmission?

Where the hell is the switch for the parking brake light, I could not find it near the hand lever.

Directly under the handle is the wire. I just looked in the fsm. On the front at the base under the handle

Your brake fluid is most likely low. Check it first before you do anything else.
