Hey guys, I've had an intermittent park-nuetral error code for a while on my 07 s manual hatch. Some time last week it went from a single park-nuetral to repeating that error. About at the same time my reverse lights stopped working (and possibly the break lights, though they may have burnt out, i'll test it today).

I found online a post that mentions a reverse switch on the transmission but don't know how to find it.
Reverse lamp switch is located on the top side of the trans
How do I find that switch so that I can test it? What are the target specs for the test?

*edit*

I pulled the light harness out and replaced all of the bulbs that weren't lighting up but the reverse lights still don't work. I checked the fuse that I think is responsible for the lighting (the 1st from the left on the second row in the fuse box under the steering column) and it looks fine.

*end edit*

What other issues might be causing this?

Thanks

Does your car not have a factory warranty still? If not take a gander at the service manual: http://www.nicoclub.com/FSM/versa/2007/hatch/

No, or at least the dealership wanted to charge me $125 to 'diagnose the code' even though I had already determined that...

anyway, I ended up ordering a new switch and swapped it out myself. That was the beginning of June and everything is happy now.
