....It has 50k miles on it and is in MINT condition, previous owner obviously spent his whole life detailing the car. I test drove it myself...fine piece of automotive machinery. Wish I could afford one, haha.

Anyways, anything to know about the car specifically? What problems are they known to have?

Thanks in advance.

What Rich says. Although have to say MPG depends on driving style. It sucks with my style but my wife gets great even in city. So it is related to the right foot. Wife can get 22 in city.

Anyways here is a little list what is known.

07 and early 08 had peeling interior pcs. 2 of them one around the window switches on the door and one around the switches on the steering wheel. They were too soft material. Replaced it with harder material in 08 but they look same.

Sensitive throttle. The gaspedal is really touchy. I personally liked it. you can get and upgrade for it at the dealer and it will feel more linear acceleration not touchy anymore.

Front grille might pitting. This is a hit and miss. Some people have this issue some don't. So it seems like manufacturing process issue.

No other issue I can recall for 07. It was a pretty good start year for an 90% new car.

Hope this helps.

Keep an eye on the dipstick.

I check mine once a week.
Just from reading posts on this site some engines use oil and some do not.
Mine uses about 1 1/2 qts every 3k miles. I'm about to give my G its 40th oil change within the next couple of weeks.

Hmm, very helpful. I'll relay all this info to my parents. From all I have heard and actually witnessed myself, this is a very fine car that people actually like alot, with very few problems.

I drove it and it was so much different for me because I am used to my 99 I30, all the controls and center navigation were kind of alot for me to digest in the short period I had with the car. The car was awesome to drive though and I hope to own one in the future myself.

Again, thanks alot for the input, and I will be sure to have some pictures up the day they get it.

What is he asking for the car ? I picked up my Red 07 G35X with 53,400 miles about 6 months warranty left with a 4.8 grade report on Manheim with Premium,NAV,Tech,Wood Grain upgrade.. for $20,500 from the Manheim auction. If he is asking too much find a dealer on Craigslist and pay him $500 and pick up the car from your local manheim auction.
