after having the tt for a week i get all sorts of comments ranging from "oh fast and furious huh" to nice rice burner....

first off rice burner are front wheel drive cars with a four cyclinder engine trying to make it to 300hp....my car already has that stock! blow me!

second of all its easily one of the top ten sports cars to come to america in the last quarter centry!

fast and the furious had amazing cars in it namely the supra and rx 7 nothing to be taken lightly

finally...bite me if you dont like your car and have the need to pick on mine just cuz it is a bit of a project so go get a car that will make you happy or at least satisfy your void.

side note...i dont know how all of you guys dont max out your credit cards buying upgrade then spend the day racing these before mentioned rice burners

sorry im done...gonna go drive now

haha spending money and owning a Z go hand in hand. also, don't let people get to you and don't waste your time with ignorant people.

let me ask you a question... what kind of cars are the people making the comments driving??? see i would be histerical laughing looking at their cars.

youre always going to have someone who doesnt like your car, but as long as you like it that is all that matters. just remember that you are driving "the greatest japanese sports car of all time."

on the other hand... have you gotten any compliments?

seriously, i dont even own a Z, and if they cant recognize a great car when they see it, nothing you ever say will convince them otherwise...

on a side note, youll get used to spending the money...im on car number 12 right now after only 7 years of driving...the last 6 have been rear wheel drive nissans/lexus/toyotas and i can still remember the initial sticker shock when it came to upgrades...now i just look at what i need to do, swallow my pride and spend rediculous amounts of money for this hobby...

Forgive them, they just don''t understand how to react to turbo-envy. Take satisfaction in knowing they will though as they are watching your exhaust pipes disappear into the distance.

Now you just need to get good downpipes, high flow cats, cat back system, electronic boost controller and chip. Those junior ricers will never bother you again.I speak from doing these mods myself and it just isn't the same car any more.

If you are about to install a POP intake, that's good. I would do exhaust next, and then the EBC/chip after that as it needs to breathe first and foremost.

It's a great car to mod, but cheap to do it isn't. I think it just has to get done as time and budget allow as no matter what, there's no real end to it if you don't stop it at some point, and that's just a personal choice.
