Hey every one I'm a proud New owner of a 94 300zx.It's an n/a with a auto transmission.Despite all that I still love the car because it's still a z32 and for 800 bucks I can't complain.it runs and drives fine with only a few dings and now a couple surprises ....one of which I'm hoping u guys can help me with.So a few days ago I noticed my battery was dying after only minutes(about 15 to 20 to be exact)of sitting.so I bust out my handy dandy multimeter and start pulling fuses.....I pulled every fuse inside and outside the car and my battery cables were still pulling 30 amps plus! The next day as I was in the car trying to figure out what the hell is going on I stumbled upon the fact that my exessive parasitic drain problem subsided when I flash my high beams, insert my key and turn it slightly as when u switch on the radio, and when I switch on my headlights or fog lights. So I disconnected the cable to the signal lever and nothing happened I did the same to the headlight switches and still nothing...any ideas?? Please help me dudes!!

Sorry bud, but this is one of those that has to be figured out on the spot through the heavy use of severe cursing and lots of patience.

I think that somewhere and in some ancient language "$800 Z32" translates into "Potential For Amazingly Impossible Erratic Issues"...something that many of us go through even with Z's in much better condition.
Solution: MUCH reading of obscure Z32 posts and threads, and reading every known Z32 Fix site known to man. Standard Operating Procedure for the Z32.
