Made a panhard drop to stop the axle pull after the sfd was installed, tire was rubbing on the shock pretty bad and this helped aleviate it. I think it turned out pretty well for 6 hours of work.

Tested it out and there was no more rubbing

the drop doesnt look very high-speed friendly.. how fast do you take your R50 on the freeway now?

Other than that, the rig looks great i have to say i'm somewhat jealous!

Yes, I noticed that it is somewhat more prone to wandering on the highway now at speeds of 70+ I do not take it up to those speeds frequently and I am making the 4hr trip home tomorrow at 70 the whole way....I have a feeling i will have my hands full esp if its windy outside. If anything I will take it off for long trips and just install it for wheeling. Before I could not flex to my full potential and I would stop dead in my tracks, but as said we will see how it handles the speed.

Okay so i just got back home and the truck ran great, but it was a hell of a drive home. Winds were at 45 with gusts to 55 which was even worse with the open farm land which I drive through to get back to Dallas. As a result the truck was ALLL OVER the place, constantly had to hold the wheel at an angle to compensate the wind. But other than that the truck handles great, no ill effects that I can tell of even up to the speed limiter. Only pic I got was at 99.....dammottttt Overall very pleased.

I like the offroad capability and lift a lot. You should look into lockers, so you actually have true 4wd and then those places where your flexing and both wheels have little grip, you'd conquer them for breakfast.

If only I had 3 grand laying around LOL. It does perform alot better now especially with the front sway bar detached. If anything id look into building a super lsd from a doner frontier desert runner

Even a rear locker would help a lot so not exactly 3k, just like 1- 1.5k :D

If anything id just get a lunchbox locker for the front and just run the hubs unlocked on the road and locked while wheeling

good luck getting a front lunchbox locker. it's an Aussie-only item and none of the vendors want to ship internationally.

you should be in 4LO when you're wheelin' like that. otherwise you'll overheat and/or burn up your transmission.

if your CVs were popping, it would pop in either HI or LO.

Apparently not cause in the video I attempted it first in 4lo and the cvs popped, then rolled back took it out of 4lo and into 4hi then went at it without the cv's popping

that wasn't the CVs popping. that was your front tires hopping from poor traction. when you backed up then tried again in 4HI, there was no hopping because you had more momentum. keep wheelin' in 4HI and we'll see how long your transmission lasts.
