panel lights remain on after battery replacement, 1995 Q45

hi,
battery died on 1995 Q45.New battery installed. Panel lights remain on (not check engine but the rest). tried to pinpoint cause -when meter fuse is pulled, they remain off but so does power steering and power window. is there a reset procedure after a battery is replaced? or any other guesses? thanks so much!

forgot- this problem started after battery replacement. low battery warning on, too but mechanic checked battery and it is fine. thanks!

alternator is worn out and in need of replacing- do it now before it kills your new battery.

Alternator was checked and it is fine, strangely enough. hubby called infiniti today -they want $129 for a reset procedure.
I wish someone on here knew what it would be! Thanks1

NO SUCH THING as a "reset procedure" on this car- NONE dealer is not being honest with you. Have alternator checked elsewhere by a professional.
