Hey guys jus wonderin if anybody has any experience w/ the rims. All I know is they make em how I like em small and wide, I want to get the Panasport C8's 16x8 f and 16x9.5 in rear but the thing is they say they r for racing only not street use. What do u guys think?

Here's a link to the site.

theyre cool.... but i dont think they would look good on a s14... only s13i believe the reason they are for race use only is they sacrifice strength for weight.... so they wont stand up to potholes and such

im goin to be puttin them on a s13 coupe.so i think they'll be ok. The other thing is I want to find out is the price for the size i want but I dont want to call Panasport Also Im jus gonna have to hope i never hit n e potholes. The thing is its gonna be a 16 in so i can put a thicker tire somethin around a 2??/55/16so think the tire could provide enough protection 4 the rim, do u think?

yeah they should be fine... its mainly a disclaimer so that if they break when you hit a pothole you cant ***** since they said racing only.... but i have seen em on some cars in mags and such and they were street cars

judging by your avatar, sorry but you cant afford thoes. youd probably be better off looking into some konig rewinds.

and, to curb your curiosity, single piece 16x7 standard offset ones are about 1200 for a set, noone really lists prices on the racing line since you have to call in with your measurements and such to get a proper quote...

not "exactly" what you were looking for, but a g7 c8s in 16x8 (open offset) at current exchange rate runs about 700$ + ship, 16x9.5 around $750.

never got why c8 wheels are so popular, g7 c5c2sp, SO HOT.

also, never got why a japanese wheel became so popular on so many vintage race cars.

edit - by the way shouldnt this be in the wheels forum.

Or you could get the gunmetal Nismos that look very similar. I'll be selling mine pretty quick. 15" though.

are you talking about nismo MM-8s? thats the only 8 spoke wheel i can think of that nismo ever made, and it looks nothing like panasports. esp not a 3 piece one.

well, im right, arent i? its not an opinion. usually people with unpainted front ends dont spend 3+ grand on wheels. i know i cant afford 3k+ worth of wheels.

if you want that style of wheel, in a size that dosent blow nuts, at a resonable price, id suggest you look into konig rewinds.

that is all.
