Sarah Palin did not actually get rid of that chef at the governor's mansion, per se. Since Palin chooses to live in Wasilla with her family most of the time, the chef, Stefani Marnon, was reassigned to a position as a "constituent relations assistant" in the governor's office. The chef later went to work at the state museum and has now landed at the Legislative lounge, still on the government payroll.

The information can be confirmed through the Alaska Daily News or State Senator Kim Elton.

She didn't use the chef but she didn't take the opportunity to reduce the state payroll either, even by 1 person.

BTW, Marnon has some awesome seafood recipes online if you take the time to look for them. She's an award-winning chef. Researching the issue I picked up some of her recipes and will be trying them out soon.

By this, she didn't get rid of her, but her expense to the government is maybe more justified now?

Dude, post up the links for the recipes. I want them!
