I Was Wondering what the benefits would be to removing your PAIR valve, if any.. i mean, its only used for emissions anyway.

the benefits are, increasing pollution, and cleaning up the engine bay.

plus im sure its not possible to have a KA-T with a PAIR valve. But who cares a little extra NOx when you get that crap away from the exhaust manifold, so much cleaner

yep, it's the AIV on nissans.. well, the S13 at least.. they took it off the s14 engine, so it seems pointless to have.. Most all emission stuff is pointless in our cars I think. I doubt it hurts the environment that much, considering everything else that's dumping crap into the air, ie. trains, airplanes, ships.. our little cars aren't going to do too much.. plus, we'll be out of oil soon enough, and not have to worry about it anymore lol. So yeah. I removed mine, you just have to plug both holes it came from, one on the intake, the other on the downpipe.

Just wanted to get a post in before the whole "millions of cars on the roads - of course it hurts it!" discussion/battle rages.

PAIR valve, when it gets dirty can introduce exhaust back into the intake causing rough, roaming idle, bogging, and stalling at low rpm. You can either clean it or remove it, there are how-to posts about both, you will find more posts searching for AIV, but I dont think that is the correct name.

how did you plug up each of the holes( the intake hold and the downpipe, exhause hole)??

if i dont plug them up, i will get a lumpy idle, but.. im sure when i plug them, the idle will be straight.

I put a bolt in the intake side, and ghetto fab'd the exhaust side... took that little pipe off, cut it like 2 inches long, put a dime in the hole, and screwed it back on to block it off. lol
