Ok. the other day a swapped a dif. ka24de into my 91 coupe. while doing this i cut the tube goin from my PAIR valve to my manifold... i noticed that my idle was a little rough so i unplugged the valve ( from the ecu) and crossed the 2 vacuum lines going to the valve together

Is this correct or did i do something wrong it doesnt seem to be doing much better?

Also at higher Rpm's around 4k it starts to fuel cutoff could this be related or is it ignition related?

Any imput would be awsome guys..

I also think the ecu i used might be fd cause the engine ran better in the car i pulled it from??

I'm guessing you speak of the metal tube coming out of the exhaust manifold that you cut. Usually it's best to take that off anyways. Plug the hole on the manifold. I don't really know what you mean by you crossed the 2 hoses together, but it doesn't sound good. You need to plug them up so you don't have a vacuum leak. Search "PAIR valve removal" for a detailed explanation, it's been a while since I did it on my car.

I know the most important thing is that the tube that connects the black PAIR box, to your intake is NOT connected. Usually the valve gets super dirty, sticks open and passes exhaust back through the intake. That causes your car to run like crap, which may be what you're experiencing.

Yes i am speaking of the metal hose going from the manifold to the pair valve. I cut it but i just pinched it of for now i plan on a full removal just gotta get the time its my dd. and by the 2 little hoses i mean theres 2 vacuum lines that connect to the pair valve. one has a red tip the other is white.. all i did is connect those to together one is reverse pressure the other is forward pressure.... should i just cap them and call it good??

I also did remove the black tube going from the valve to the intake should i plug the intake hole? and it does seem like there are exaust fumes going into my engine bay which i know cant be good cause it wont burn if it gets into the intake...

plug the aiv vacuum lines. aiv is not causing your fuel cutoff problem.

Thanks..I plugged the vacuum lines,

And for the fuel cut off problem at high rpm's is that a syptom of bad spark plugs??
