PAIR Removal in NC

Has anyone in NC done the PAIR removal and if so what is the size of the plug req'd to plug the hole in the exhaust manifold? someone mentioned 18 mm but i want to be sure

I've removed mine, but that was to clean up the bay to prepare for a SR. So I wouldn't be able to provide any information as to whether or not emissions requirements are met.
