You've never been more right Maxnix. I've sat and watched, fascinated by the magic unfolding before my eyes. I definately would remove all paneling and whatever else would make the job easier. Wish I could run across one fo those guys that does it for the dealers. They are the masters!maxnix wrote:Paintless dent removal when done to perfection is an art. Once had clients who had been in the business for 14 years. Experience and skill count.
Offer to remove all interior panels and barter your services also. You may get the price down.
Having it done by an inexperienced practitioner is a waste of time and money. You want a guy who has done it everyday for years if you don't want ripples and dimples.
Of course you do. Door and trunk panels so they can get to unpainted side of the metal. I'm aware that they can wiggle the tools into many tight spaces but some just can't be reached without removing obstructions. Some even drill holes when necessary to reach sealed areas.Q_SHIP wrote:You should not need to removeany panels to have this done.
Well yea for stuff like that. My guy has never once had to remove a door panel or anything though. My guy charged me $50 for every ding on my car.DrewQ45 wrote:

If panels not removed, some of the dealer subcontractors just drill into the close panel on the door and then plug.Q_SHIP wrote:You should not need to removeany panels to have this done.
