Just wanted to get some input from you guys. I'm thinking about painting my wheels to either a darker gun metal type color, or a lighter silver metallic color. A color code I can just order online or buy at a dealership. I kind of like that dark gun metal Mercedes color, Tectite Grey. Just wondering what you guys think would look better on my precision grey; a darker or lighter color?

I'm no good with photoshop, but if anyone has any extra time on their hands, could you please color my wheels in gun metal and a lighter silver. Thanks in advance.

Do those wheels have the Nissan logo in the middle?

Yeah, I loved the color match, but recently, I've been wanting to do something to my car. No new parts are out so that leaves me with painting my wheels I want my Eibach Pro-Kit springs!! I just can't justify paying $85 shipping for a set of $229 springs! Hopefully someone locally will bring them in soon 'cause I'm getting an itch

I agree with LBC... I really like them as-is.

I'm a huge fan of keeping the branding the same (aka, having the Nissan logo on them). I'm gonna have to assume you took the Nissan center cap and put it on those wheels because I've never seen Nissan wheels like that! (And if that's easy enough to do, I'll do it on mine.)

These are the Ray's Engineering SE-R wheels. Most wheels have the same diameter (I think 2" or 2.5") cutout for that middle section. Well at least Nissan does. You can find the Nissan caps used on ebay in different shades of grey/silver. They usually come off of Altima's, 350Z's and Maxima's and are all interchangable.

Don't paint them they look perfect for the car, just be patient, I am getting the itch my car has 1200 miles and I haven't touched it yet I'm going NUTS, I need to wrench on something, maybe supercharge my lawnmower...its almost winter and I need to mod! INJEN' isn't worth anything but better sound, but maybe with a nice exhaust might breathe better (I've been bugging BORLA) as I like the sound (lower growl) not fart tubes..I really hate fart tubes...

Hey man... im willing to help out with getting the springs to you (idk if theres a way to save any $$ on it) but ill ship it to you... parcel post.. media mail... lemme know

In addition, if i sell the stock 2.5 wheels and buy the Z wheels... and i no longer have the stock ones... will it affect resale?

Hey LBC, thanks for the offer! I just may have to take you up on that, I'll let you know. I was thinking about calling up the ex (she lives in LA) to ship them to me, but I don't think I'll do that

It will not affect the the resale because the stockers are sooo fugly!! If I was buying a used Altima, I'd want one with the Z's vs. one with the 16's. I've kept mine because in my opinion, the stock 17's are very nice, sleek looking wheels which I may one day decide to throw back on. I know I can fetch a pretty penny if I decide to sell my current wheels, so I'm keeping my stocks. Go ahead and sell those OEM's of yours.

BTW, you should look into finding the G35 19's. Now those are HOT WHEELS!!

I'm on a mission to find a set of these for a decent price

I could however pickup a set of them in 18" replica for $500 on eBay.

Yeah, I almost ordered those replicas also, but shipping was $380 to Hawaii so I passed. Then I found my wheels and realized that everything happens for a reason I'm sure glad I didn't get those reps because they're knock-off 18's when the originals are FORGED 19's. I can just imagine how heavy those things must weigh?

I think your rims look good the way they are. But it is ultimately up to you. My rims came upgraded 18' gunmetal from the dealer. I will post some pics up later.

Here is a nice setup - using the 18" rims from that car which we do not dare compare to an Altima coupe . Infiniti G35 (oops) Painted gun metal grey - anything in the sliver grey color range will look good for a any wheel or application.

What I like most about this application besides the color - is the width/offset of the Infinit rims and how they come flush to the Altima fender.

Here are some 350Z rims.

Yeah, those journey wheels look not bad on the coupe. I personally love the Ray's 19's from the sport 06 model. I don't know how they would look on a sedan, but I'm trying to find a set locally.

You wouldn't happen to know the color code of those journey's, would you? There are so many different shades of gunmetal, but I really like those because they're not too dark.

Do you know if the guy running those anniversary's has the wider wheels up front? Or does he have it staggered normal?

I like the Z and the G rims on the coupe. I've been contemplating myself getting a set and I wasn't sure what they would look like. Very nice!

I am not sure what treatment is exactly on these, the dealer had them powder coated in Detroit, they said gun metal... but after reading above statements, maybe these are black chrome.... not sure, but i like them anyways, they are 18's off a Murano.

Shan, nice wheels! I saw a coupe here which had the FX35/FX45 19" wheels. That looked nice and so does yours with the Murano's.

Hey, black chrome that ugly grey colored honeycomb. I seriously think that grey color on the honeycomb looks really cheap!! That needs to be colored black, or better yet, black chrome
