Nice, like how you detailed the logo black with red lettering.

was taking the burger off hard? i have a 2.5 and was thinking of painting it but the last time i took the cover off, i remember it being impossible to just push out because of some sort of glue, or am i just crazy or as strong as a 6 year old girl? lol

Mine actually just popped off...granted I did accidentally break one of the prongs that holds it in place (there are 4 double prongs that hold it onto the engine cover)...So be careful when you're taking it off and handling it when it is off...they snap off easily...but even if you do break them, I'm sure you can use some adhesive and stick it back on there...

that sounds diffrent from mine, might be because i have a 2.5 but mine doesn't look to have prongs, more like 4 or 5 pieces of plastic (not pronged) sticking through held in with some sort of adhesive, maybe if we can get some 2.5ers to weigh in?

What kind of paint/primer did you use? Any sanding?

i used rustolem engine primer and duplicolor engine enamel for the black/red...i used 600 grit sandpaper on all the parts to smooth off the edges of any plastic burrs...and i sanded the chrome off the emblem before I painted it black...

Painted mine the other day, to get the burger off, just heat it up a bit and start prying it off with a flathead. Its just got some double sided tape holding it on.
