I was thinking about painting my stock nissan badges on the hood and hatch black using NightShades. I know you can buy black emblems but all the ones I've been able to find are like $60. Would Night Shades work on the emblems? To prep for the Night Shades would 800 grit or 1500 grit sanding be better to prep for the painting? If anyone knows the best way to paint them all advice is welcome as I've never painted anything automotively. I also planned on putting a gloss clear on it as well after the Night Shades. Thanks for the help.
