painting lip spoiler

I am planning to get a lip spolier from stillen. If I am planning to paint it myself, can i just buy the paint from autozone or pepboy?

im no paint wiz, but i'm pretty sure your going to need paint from the factory or at least the exact same code for your car.

How are you going to paint it on your own? Do you have a spray gun, if so, you need to get it from the stealership or a paint shop that gets the exact code of your car. Your better off getting it done professionally, its not something you can just take a brush to

You must also know how to prep urethane and get flex agent paint for the urethane. Normal paint would eventually end up cracking on urethane. I advise you to get it professionally done and perhaps if you want, you can install it yourself.

If you want to do some work yourself. Do what I did. I just did all the prep work and priming and then had it sprayed. But to do this yourself, you will defenetly need color matched paint and a spray gun. If you go to the meet on sunday, hit me up and I can hook you up with my painter. He works quick, cheep, and does a good job.
