Painting KA Manifold Can I use engine paint?

How do I prep it? Do I need Primer? Do I just clean it with brake cleaner and brush?

You can, but its just going to burn off in a few hours.

I was thinking of using paint to secure the cold-weld that I want to use to fill up the holes after removing the Swirl Control Valve butterflies.

Oh, you're talking about the INTAKE manifold. Then, yes, you can paint that.

I'm going to pull the intake apart, wash and brush using seafoam and repaint.I'll also make a write up tp sticky.
