I would not recommend powder coat. it has good insulative properties that somewhat negate the point of having an IC... try anodizing. only a few atoms thick and still makes it look pretty dark... will not affect heat transfer and is quite durable.

A light coat of paint would work fine unless you are looking for all out performance, then uncoated or anodized is the way to go. anodizing can be done at most machine shops (comercial, not car shops)

radiator paint will work fine.

one of the big IC companies (hks or blitz, i forget) did a study that showed a light coat of spraypaint had no measureable effect on efficiency

I'd leave it alone.

A big FMIC will look great on your car. Just try to hide it.

Yup sure will. Kinda hard to hide something 33" long, 5" tall and 3" thick. So I think the paint will be my cover, plus a stock hood painted primer. Then my car will be in sleeper mode fo sho.;)
