Painting intercooler pipes.

i need to paint my intake pipe side of my intercooler plumbing, but i know black is an ineffecient colour and causes heat.. what else can i use as a colour ? should i used silver or something ? as I need to paint over a join that was made.. any help out?? heres a photo with the big silver pipe

if that is aluminum, it can be polished. if not, a minimal amount of black spray paint will not really affect your temperatures at all. *shrugs* if you've got big bollocks, might i suggest pink? =P

Hey anything packing an RB has big enough balls to be painted whatever color you want

yeah, paint it pink, or any feminine color. you could always have it chromed.

white is always good, but it will show dirt rather fast.

Was actually going to paint it pink, but dunno.. will the join polish out if i do that ? never have done it before..

Black won't affect it that much. My pipes coming off of my FMIC are currently black and I have no difference from when they were blue as they came. I'll get them chromed eventually though

Yeah, i can get chrome paint that won't go bad, but i thought black maybe a disadvantage.. but hmm.. i'll hafta have a look into it more then.

let us know what you find about painting it black. I have a black car and would love to know if painting this and the valve cover black would affect the tempatre in way, shape or form

pink is always badass as long as it is a deep color like hot pink.... ya know what i'm tryin to say??

I have 2 pink tattoos - my moms name and a tribal filled in w/ hot pink on my wrist... and a hot pink nismo badge (not on my car)

i honestly think its fine man and really wouldn't worry about it at all ...... but if its seriosuly a priority then i think chrome is always a winner

Well if i leave it, it'd prolly rust, like it has started to lightly over the join.. and that doesn't look too nice..
