Just curious though should i sand them down first, what is priemer, and i want to take the interior and make em matte or gloss how would i do that? Im sorry for the simple paints questions yall would know lol im just a noob wish i knew all this stuff but thats why yall are here :)

painting the chrome moustache isn't the best solution since the paint will chip really easily from flying road debris and you'll end up with a twilight looking moustache. check out bluebatmobile.net or email him at the same addy and he sells overlays for i think around $17 or something. woodbridge, you'll want to tell him that you have a 2010 coupe since the grill is different, not sure if he has one for the new coupes yet.

as for painting the interior vents, there's a thread in the faq section: http://www.nicoclub.com/archives/altima ... vents.html

i suggest sanding down the grill inserts prior to painting. I didn't and the paint ended up chipping like crazy.

primer is a preparatory layer that helps the paint adhere to the surface, so that would help too. just make sure you get paint and primer made for plastic, since the wrong type could damage the plastic.

and i don't quite understand what you mean when you say you want to make the interior matte or gloss. first, matte and gloss are completely different. second, what part of the interior are you talking about? if you literally mean the ENTIRE interior, check out the service manual for instructions on removing the panels.

JINX! lol.

yeah, like blackmobile said, it will chip fairly easily if you just start spray painting the chrome. but if you properly sand, prime, and paint, there shouldn't be too much of an issue. that being said, overlays might be an easier solution, especially if you're not comfortable painting it yourself.
