Painting Engine Cover!!

ok...painting the engine cover for my 2.5 tomorrow. Got a low key (not super bright) red gloss engine paint, and then some clear coat high gloss. Ill probably do 2-3 coats of the red with 1-2 coats of the clear. In addition, i will be sanding it down using 400 grit and then 800 grit and possibly some 1000 grit sandpaper. SHOULD BE FUN!!!

Anyone do theirs yet and have any words of wisdom?

no offense but doing a search on this site/group of sites can be like finding a needle in a haystack. It drives me nuts. I did a search of it earlier and it gave me a ton of links that had to do with stuff that i wasnt searching for.

Not to mention the combination of different word combinations in the search and all the different categories we have now...
