painting dash?

well... i'm trying to find a black dash for my car, but having hard time finding one thats not blown. i found a ugly blue colored dash pretty clean one, but what kind of paint do i use, if i wanted to paint it black? if you guys know anything on this dash painting give me some info.i don't wanna buy the blue dash if the paints chip off easy after i painted them.

I've never seen a painted dash that looked very good, but this is probably a question for NICO's "interiors" forum.

I don't think it's paint but rather a dye. Cover it in fake fur man, superfly!

Yes that is what I was going to suggest. I'm sure the plastic that the dash is made from is fairly porous...it should accept a dye readily...as long as it's of the right variety.

oh i found a site for the interior spray dye. http://wheelskin.com/Merchant2...imerscheck it out and see if you guys think this will work.
