I feel kinda stupid for this but oh well. I was just wondering what all other vert owners do first, fix the top or paint the car?? the shop that did my brothers' car said that he should paint it first than do the top. but see i dont want to paint it till i fix the top. btw my car is on jacks and has no motor in it so it'll be way easier to paint now. so what would you do??

Definitely paint first and then fix the top. You don't want your new top and rear window get dusty.

If your top is leaking, then repair it first to save your interior. If not, then I would get the car painted first.

i have painted a few cars (including a formula d / D 1 fc rx7 and a 800hp 9 second ek civic hatch back, both of which were real head turners, can post pix if you guys are interested) and i would paint it with the junk top on. that way in case any overspray "accidently" shows up on the top you wont care because your replacing it. and overspay is a mother to get off of cloth, trust me.

also you can take the trim off around the trunk around the window and anywhere else there is trim to get a full paint job minus all of the unsightly tape lines that seem to always show up.

i for one dont care for the interior of the 240sx, i dont care if its a s13 or a s14 its still pretty crappy to me. so who cares about the stock junk your probably going to have to replace that junk soon anyways lol. if you need any paint tips hit me up.
