Will this hamper the performance of a radiator? I did a quick google search and found this:

I want a flat black for my radiator as I am painting everything behind my fascia black. Just wondering if anyone has had experience with this before...

Anything you put on the radiator will reduce its performance. It will probably be fine with a light coat of spray paint as long as you aren't adding power mods, but you will just have to be aware of the reduced margin of safety.

idk, i didnt have any issues... my friend has a pretty heavily modified SRT4 and he painted his intercooler and had no issues... i'm not saying it CANT happen, i'm just saying that its not likely for anything to happen.

Hussain, did you paint it with a brush or was it spray paint?

From what I've been reading, a light coat of spray paint is ok but actual brushed on paint will be too thick usually and ruin the functionality of the radiator.

Long as you don't "clog" up any of the fins you should be alright.

Someone with experience doing this please feel free to chime in.

thanks!

honestly, i'd just try and talk to a local body shop if i were you. theirs the T-Rex grill and another grill that SORT OF look like how mine is but not exactly. if you want that look, try and talk to a body shop and see if they can add a piece in between the 2 chrome pieces and then bondo and primer and paint everything so its all one piece.... hella weird but every local place near me stopped selling mesh like 1 month before i painted my fascia lol so i went to "Lowe's" and bought some bright green plastic tree guard mesh lol and a can of low gloss black spray paint. i had the body shop bondo the mesh to the fascia too.

Andy..stop being a douche and just paint your radiator. Mine has been painted ever since I've gotten the Stillen fascia and I've never had any problems. Here's the process,.. Get a wire brush, brush off all the bugs or as much as you can and spray paint the radiator. It's that easy! Now Go Fight Win!
