Did it on my Acura RSX (Satin Silver, LOL what with me and Satin?) and went with Blue. Unless you want attention, I think going with BLACK is the safest/cleanest look.

I should've went with the Dupi-Colour Caliper Paint Kit, saw others in my ClubRSX and turned out really well compared to what I did.

Used VHT Caliper Paint, lightly sanded them and put 3 coats. This took probably 4 hours. I can't find any pics.

I recommend the Dupi-Colour Caliper Pain Kit because of the Quality and includes Cleaner & Brush, for more detailed look, depending how much time you really want to spend on it...sand it really well. Not sure if others here recommend using Primer and or Sealant/Clearcoat.

Have fun! I'll see how this Winter goes, I might do it next year.

Like stated above, the Dupli-Color caliper kit is good. If you don't feel like taking the calipers apart, you can paint brush them. A more thorough job would be to take everything apart and spray them with high-temp paint. Red or blue will make your car look a little ricey in my opinion.

generic, not trying to be funny, I've seen the term ricey used a number of times, but I'm a bit ignorant of its meaning...what exactly does ricey mean?

Coupe, i went with the G2 caliper paint system. It uses an epoxy style paint that gives the appearance of having a clear coat. I had blue on my calipers and rear drums on my last car and they looked nice. I did about three coats for each!!!

1. Ricey -to modify a car JDM style.

2. Ricey

-More contemporary use of the term ricey, along with the prefix rice, has taken on an alternate pejorative meaning for an automobile that has been modified to give impression of high performance, but does not necessarily have any high-performance capabilities. This practice is in direct contrast to the "stealth" or "sleeper" style of automotive modification, where a vehicle may have major performance modifications, but the appearance remains similar to that of a stock model. In this manner, the appellation can apply to any vehicle regardless of country of origin. The most commonly modified cars are sport compacts, but the term can apply to any class of vehicle, including trucks.

example: big body kits, big spoilers, bore exhausts, graphics, neons, etc..

A few pics of "ricey"

For some reason or another, most owners of "riced out" cars think that stickers, gigantic spoilers and large/loud mufflers = horespower.

Sorry to offend anyone if this is you
