Hey guys

After approximately 3 weeks, my C-Mod grille has finally arrived safe and sound.

I'd like to get to installing it as soon as possible, but I was thinking of painting it before installing it.

My car is an 2008 Altima Coupe 3.5SE in the Frost White.

I want to do the bottom part of the grille (where the chrome mustache used to be) in the same color as the body color.

As suggestions as how to get my hands on some of the paint of same or similar color?

What he said. Body Shop is best bet.

Although, Im in the process of re-working a few parts of my OEM grille to match the body color. I bought some spray paint from an online company that matches to factory paint codes. A friend of mine used them for his sedan and it looks great. It was relatively cheap so Im going to try that first, if it doesnt look right I'll go body shop.

You can try Duplicolor Perfect Match if you want to do it yourself:
They don't have Frost White, only Cloud White, but It's like 7 bucks and available @ your local auto part store.

They can supply you with a small aerosol can of your exact color and it will really match perfectly if you use a primer, a few light coats of the paint, and then a few light clear coats followed by intense buffing. It will really look exactly the same and be nice and shiny.

I recently repainted an entire tailgate on my 1500 ram and it came out really well

Wow good to know. I had no idea they could put it into a can. How much? I think I paid about $15 from that website.

Mine should be in within the week. I have an all black coupe and was wondering if I need to still paint the cmod or does the black that it comes in match? I may just carbon fiber wrap it..
