LOL, yeah I intended upon doing that! I was looking for suggestions along, what type of paint I should buy, to where I should paint versus where I shouldnt paint?

Use brushes (wire probably) to get ALL the brake dust off.

And make sure you have the whole day to do this, it will probably require more than one coat depending on what youre using (duplicolor makes caliper pant I Beleive) . check for relative humidity, if its rainy or moist outside, it'll take forever to dry.

make sure its high temp paint...and I havent dont his yet myself, but will be soon, but i was thinking getting a lot of paint on the actual piston or the piston boot cant be a good thing so you may want to have those covered

Yes, hi temp paint is a must, you don't want your paint to bubble off, and melt onto your rotor. Bad times.

i used duplicolor high temp paint, and a high temp clear coat from duplicolor. Both are engine paints but they worked. I did use a base coat. It was a self etching primer of some kind that was supposed to be good for up to 500 degrees

Thanks for the tips guys, will probably reschedule this little operation for another day, owing to the whole work schedule thing. As for my engine, :\ not running so good, still got some major hesitation. So if you wanna come over (i got a new clutch too) and help me pop in my clutch and maybe diagnose the prob with the hesitation that'd be really cool! TY for all your help guys

Hmmm, are there any big brake kits with black calipers? I keep seeing the Brembo brake kits on sites and use a pic of a kit with black calipers, but never sell the actual kit that has that caliper. I'm talking about these:

Anyone know where I may be able to get those? Brembo homepage is confusing .
