painted turn signal?

a while back i seen a coupe with his turn signal lights painted. i searched the thread but cant find it. if anyone has the link with pics or atleast how he did it. thanks

the orange light in the head light. he painted or atleast that what i think he did. but it wasnt overlays or tint. it was inside of the light.

ok i remember seeing these lgihts somewhere a while ago. im not to big when it comes to my knowledge on cars most of the stuff i learn is from you guys. since dont think anyone knows what im talking about.

what about these lights. i know there was a group buy on them but i want to know if you can just buy them some where without having to send your headlights to someone.http://forums.altimas.org/zerothread?id=408549

You would need to get another set of headlights to ship to the person that makes them. No one makes them for our cars as of yet. Like a car company in mass production.

oh ok thanks. what about lightwerkz i see they have a amber removal option for headlights. might be a dumb question but is it difficult to do yourself?

im89 i see that you live in ozone park, theres a guy in ozone park who offers the service he does amber removal and color painting he alos does the halos but you have to purchase them. you can check out his work @ http://WWW.CUSTOMHEADLIGHTS.WEBS.COM

I would be very weary of anyone we havent come across that claims they can open our headlights with ease... buyer beware!

I'm not sure if original post is referring to chrome signals or the halos. However, I wouldn't mind a little more info on acquiring chrome signals. Do you paint the originals or is there a place to purchase replacements? In order to do this you must open the headlight housing, right? Just to make sure, I want to ask.

You can get the chrome bulbs, search ebay, lots there. But to paint the cup reflector the headlight needs to be opened and it's not easy AT ALL.
