I've been putting this off for a few months now and finally got around to doing it. This isn't a DIY write up, but I would suggest that anyone with the c-mod grille paint their rad and support bar, it's pretty self explanatory and easy to do. Even though it's a subtle change, it made a surprisingly big difference.

First the grille support bar...

I doubt it, I didn't spray very thick coats on it. I'll let you know if there are any heat issues. :-)

thanks! as a side note there was a guy at orielly auto parts that talked me out of the high temp paint and said reg paint would work just fine. So I bought the $4 paint instead of the $11 paint, so we'll see what happens. I'll let you guys know if there are any issues.

to paint the radiator...u just sprayed it directly on or did you spray the paint on an angle to get less inside the engine bay?

I sprayed at all angles so I could get an even coat. I didn't find any overspray after I was done so it's all good.
