Painted my wheels...need opinions

Finally got around to painting my wheels. Not sure if I went with the right color. Would a darker color look better?

The color is Mercedes metallic pewter

looks fine, just looks like the wheels are BRAND new. i personally dont like those wheels in a dark color.

Looks good, put some suspension on it and it will look 10x better

Color don't go with the car.Sticks out like a sorthumb.Just my .02 cents but it is your car so do what u want to do with it.

what paint did you use?

im thinkign about painting my stock 7spokes Graphite using DupliColor wheel paint

^just make sure you use a crapload of clearcoat, if not they look like sheet

If you just never cleaned them again it would've accomplished the same effect.

I've yet to figure out what the "import tuners" have against alloy wheels and amber lights.

The main reason I painted them was because the silver finish looked like crap. I wanted to go with a color that was close to stock so that I avoided the "spare tire look" that really dark greys and black gives you sometimes. But I also wanted to change it up a little from stock silver. I think I'll keep the color for a while, It's starting to grow on me more.
