i want to do this....but im afraid it might void my warranty............what do you guys think?

i have gotten a couple calls on my cell a few months back from the dealership saying " your warranty is almost up and you can renew it by coming into the dealership" but i never did that.

whats the "rules" about the warranty on a lease?

i dont see why it would effect your warranty. if your worried about it, buy an extra set of hubcabs. Or, even better, just get a new set of wheels and swap it when you go to the dealer

i have the 3.5................so that means i have the 3.5 rims as well..and buying a new set of rims would cost 300 a rim unless i found some on ebay.i say 300 a rim because when i was in a "black ice" accident, one of my rims bent and the quote was 300 for that one rim.

but if ya think it wont void the warranty..maybe ill give it a try.

Painting your hubcaps are not going to void your warranty.

Returning a leased car with something modified will probably not be allowed. The dealership may not like it and have you pay for replacement hubcaps.

No i didn't sand them down at all before painting just sprayed some adhesive. Its only temporary. about 6 months before i pick up some new rims. Im down to hit up Louie's tonight tho what time u get off work tho.
