Is it me or does that look more like orange-gy-red. I say this because if you compare that color to the the K&N logo next to it, it kinda matches the top swoosh color of the logo

Agreed. That looks absolutely terrible. A clean engine compartment looks good. One with a massive orange plate looks retarded. I would not even ride in that thing.

A bit off topic. I need to pick up a new "engine cover" for my 03 Altima. I bought it a couple years ago with a crack down the middle of it. Suffice to say I believe one of the screws is stripped and the previous owner snapped it in half taking it off.

Hasn't bothered me, but am doing some routine work and figured I'd pull it off and put on new one on. Can't find a part name for it or a model#. Assume I have to go to the dealer, but if you have a link for me outside of a dealer.. thanks in advance.

Please. A mod that is only visible when the hood is open would stop you from riding in that car.

Agreed...that is just stupid to say that... find a different way to voice it next time...

It is for SURE bright...I would look into painting the ovals black...or maybe filling in the crease (Channel, or Ditch if you will) with black, the part that basically runs across the cover.
