bolts and screws are being replaced with all new ones and I had 1 day for prep and paint. Combined, I had about 6 hours to get it all done. I did the priming late at night and painted it first thing in the morning. Masking off lines wasnt a big issue for me since:#1 - when the engine is in you won't see the rack & pinion, fuel lines, or anything else like that#2 - the mouldings are getting replaced#3 - the parts I oversprayed are getting covered with pieces that I took out so I have access to paint everything.#4 - like I said before, it needed to be done in a few hours or it would have never of gotten done. My engine has been sitting in the garage for about 3 months now and it's almost time to put it in. Im waiting on my turbo lines that should be here in about a day or so and once I get them, the engine is going in. I work way too much to work on the car and I figured I should paint the engine bay.
Trust me, this work shows about 10% of my capabilities. When it comes to the bodywork on the car and painting it, you will see my true colors shine. Here's a pic of what I have to work with:
It's a horror show. In about 3 weeks you will see how much of an improvement it is and you won't doubt my capabilities
