Painted my calipers

Did this the other weekend. I used the G2 paint, which I have to say came out very nice and glossy. It came in a small can and I thought there is no way there is enough paint in there! It turned out there was plenty, enough for 3 coats on each caliper.

I also installed the spoiler last weekend.

Didn't really need all the tape when painting as the brush is very small and it's very easy to do.
Everything was taped up for when I sprayed brake cleaner so that the rubber hoses didn't get wet.

Thanks, wasn't sure if I wanted to go with Red since "everyone" does. Was thinking maybe yellow or something against the black, but I like the red.

this might sound like a stupid question, but is it safe to paint your brake calipers because i saw the picture you posted and it looks awesome. Im planning on doing it if its safe to do. but great job it looks fantastic

The paint is temperature rated for the specific application.

I would do it, but he Mrs. thinks is ugly. Even though our pathy has them painted black.
