What kind of caliper paint did you use? G2? DupliColor?08altima35 wrote:sorry i didn't take any pics with the wheels off, but will do so soon. here are some pics of the final product. a friend of mine said they look best when going down the highway while driving beside me. (of course shortly there after he was behind me). and any dark spots you might see is where my brake dust caked fingers came in contact with the paint. the paint is so super high gloss that simply spraying the caliper pretty much removes all crud. easy peazzy

I would... but spending another 35-40 is kind of but then again.. It will probably be worth itMarisha wrote:I'd get the same stuff and paint the back, it's what you intended to do originally.
im sure there is some kind of clamp somewhere or plug that someone uses to stop the brake fluid, but in my world you let it drain out catch it in a bucket or whatever, dont get it on the paint, brake fluid is nasty, then paint polish sand powder coat or whatever your calipers, then reattach the calipers, then add NEW brake fluid to the master cylinder and then BLEED THE BRAKES to remove the air bubbles from the lines and then your set. thats the best i can remember at least, im sure i left something out and someone will call me out on it but till then...Jose3.5 wrote:When I tried to take the brake calipers off all the brake fluid started spilling everywhere. How do you do it so it doesn't spill all over the place?
If you wanna get the job done right, spend the $35 and call it a learning experience. You can also take 08altima35's advice and see if the original seller is willing to budge on the price a bit.jak0 wrote:UI
