Haven't done it, but can't imagine the paint would last too long. Any time you need to take the tire off I'm sure a hell of a lot of paint would chip off.

I wouldn't paint them if I were you. I can guaran-damn-tee that the paint will chip off as soon as you put an impact or lug wrench on it. Get black anodized lugs instead of painted ones or get a set of OEM lugs and send it to Liquid powder coats and have them powder coat to any color you want His rates are reasonable

i dunno why aftermarket lugs would be bad for OEM wheels. codered, half of g35nyc have aftermarket lugs on their G wheels. I never heard of them being bad for OEM wheels O.o

i think part of is it because aftermarket lug nuts just won't fit on the g35 wheels. You have the g37 so I'm not to sure but you have to use those little mini lug nuts on stock wheels. My aftermarket lug nuts wouldn't fit on my stock 16 because the bottom of the lug nut is wider so it wont' fit the hole i believe.

I'm pretty sure Nissan wheels use the tapered seat that aftermarket lugs use. Some OEM wheels have like a ball seat and there are other kinds, in those cases you cannot use aftermarket lugs.. Just have to make sure you get lugs with the right seat. I'm on 350z track wheels and I can use aftermarket lugs no problem, for example
