painted front grill debate??

I was thinking about painting my grill the same color..but i need feedback from you guys if it is a good idea.

Personally, I think it looks terrible. I like the look of the dark chrome. Painted grilles are cheap looking, like what I would expect on a Kia.

However, if YOU like it, then by all means do it. Don't be too concerned with what a bunch of people (who aren't making the payment on your car) think.

After not even 2 months I bought the G my grille looked like I came from the war zone. Chipped like crazy. They replaced it for free and I though for sure it will chip again but it did not. That was my back up plan. If I had to I would of end up get it painted OB and leave the infiniti sign chrome. I think it looks good if you match the color. Even if you paint it black it would look good with IP.

in my opinion i think having the chrome color on the grill looks better...i dont think having the whole car the same color looks too good unless its black. but especially on your car because the rims arent white... hmmm maybe you can paint the infiniti sign only? how would that look?

same here zozo (the grill replaced) and still looks new and i to like the chrome grill

I always think about changing something on the car, but I just love it as it is. I've seen an IP coupe with black grille and black rims. It was awesome. If I were you I would photoshop a bunch of different way and try to find out which one I like the most.

I like painted grills. The idea of just doing the logo sounded pretty good too though...I think it will also depend on the wheels.

It does look better on black...Not feeling the rims though.

Thanks guys... If i had a black car then definitely I would do the grill black too..but with white it is 50/50.

Photoshopping would be awesome but I dont have that..i tried with MSpaint but that look really stupid....

I guess until i see it in person then that is when I can make a souond judgement..
