Painted FMIC

Will a painted FMIC hurt the cooling ability's of the FMIC. I want to paint mine a flat black so it doesnt' stand out as much so long as cooling ability's are not compromised. What's your guy's take on this. No downside's or don't do it.

I don't think the paint would hurt it as much as the paint color of choice. It may be minimal, but black does absorb ultraviolet light, which would make the intercooler core warmer than if it were still polished aluminum. Guess it would depend how much time your car spends out in the sun.
